CHURCHES!

Looking for a mission to grab people’s hearts?

Youth from a Canadian church joining with Kenyan youth to clean up the streets in KiberaYour church can send an orphaned child to school in 2015!

Wherever you are in the world - Canada, United States, Australia- wherever- we can link you with Kijiji Cha Upendo (Village of Love) so that your church can directly fund a child to go to Secondary School. The cost is approximately  US $500.

  • A perfect congregational project for Advent or Lent.
  • Something children can easily relate to and a Sunday school can raise funds for.
  • The project offers your youth the opportunity to visit and help build a classroom!

Church Women’s Groups:

Consider sponsoring girls to stay in school through our “Month by Month” keep a girl in school campaign. Just $30 provides an annual supply of sanitary towels for a girl, without which she will stay home for 3 or 4 days every month, be vulnerable to infections through unhygienic substitutes and possible early pregnancy when unscrupulous shopkeepers take advantage of her need.

40 girls in Village of Love will need feminine hygiene products in 2015. $1200 will keep them all in school.

“Garden in a Sack” $30

Enable women living on $1  day to grow their own kale in a sack and to grow a micro-credit fund at the same time! To fund 15 women in forming a micr-credit group costs as littlas $450. See GARDEN
