$45 Gift of Hope

Put this on you “wish list” for Christmas!

Where would they be without school? Where is school taking them?

In this 2016 video, “The Children Speak,” some children in Village of Love consider these questions. The alternatives they name are real and shocking: prostitution, FGM (female genital mutilation), early motherhood, death on the streets by gun violence, drugs.. For these children, Village of Love paying their school fees is a light in their lives that gives them hope.

“Education is the most powerful way to change the world.“  N. Mandela.

When your family asks you what you would like as a gift, tell them you would like to see the world change for the better. You would like to see a child have the chance to go to school.

Your $45 “Gift of Hope” will send a child to school in the Kibera slum!

In school, a  child is safe from the dangers of the streets, receives at least one nutritious meal, and learns skills through which they can gain confidence, a sense of personal worth and responsibility, and become equipped to earn a living and make a positive contribution to society.
