Come join the fun as we dance up a storm in support of Village of Love Canada and children in Kenya.
We'll take over the church gym, with professional square and line dancing callers guiding us through the steps. Absolutely no experience required and no partner needed to join the fun. This family-friendly event is for all ages. Bring a gang!
Water and light snacks are provided. Buy your tickets early using the button below, or you can purchase them at the door. Tickets are $25, or you can pay $50 to be a Village Champion (this option includes a charitable tax receipt for $25). There will also be a 50/50 draw during the evening.
Your tickets support Village of Love in action!
All proceeds go to support orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya. Our partner, Kijiji Cha Upendo, runs an amazing, life-changing program in Kibera, an informal settlement outside of Nairobi. “Kijiji” helps caregivers build sustainable family incomes and helps hundreds of children stay in school and build for their futures. Yes! Our professional callers, Don St Jean and Geremy Vincent, will guide us through the steps. And the whole point is just to have fun!

Comfortable clothes and soft-soled shoes. Running shoes are fine. If you want to wear your best “country” garments, that’s fine too!

Regular tickets are not eligible for a tax receipt. $25 of a Village Champion ticket is eligible a receipt for 2026. Village of Love Canada is a volunteer-based organization with very low overhead, so about 95 percent of the money raised at Chance to Dance goes directly to the work in Kenya.

Village of Love Canada is a volunteer organization that raises funds for Kijiji Cha Upendo.
The money we raise goes directly to the work in Kenya, supporting women who, despite their own poverty and the challenges of raising children, have taken in orphaned and vulnerable children.
