Sue has a passion for jewelry
Sue Cameron noticed that jewelry tables were always popular with visitors to vintage shows and church bazars. So, in 2012, beginning with pieces from her own family, she set up a tiny board of jewelry as part of a Village of Love Canada table. Of course it was popular!
Now, 14 years later, Sue gets donations of jewelry from friends, neighbours and beyond. Aside from cleaning and sorting the pieces, she researches them - one necklace has real Murano beads, made in Italy. Another is called a railroad chain because of the shape of each link. There’s no online shop; Sue sets up tables at various craft shows and flea markets in Toronto’s west end. For her, it is a labour of love. 100% of her profits go straight to Village of Love Canada.
