How to give
By Credit Card
Use the Donate Now button to give by credit card. You will receive a tax receipt immediately. VoLC now holds its charitable status affiliation with Runnymede United Church, a longtime supporter of the Kenyan work (more information below).
You can choose a Monthly or Today Only donation. To save card company charges, consider one of the options below.
By E-transfer or Cheque
Send your donation to treasurer@runnymedeunited.org with the purpose in the message field, e.g., “Village of Love donation” or “Village of Love Ride.”
Make cheques to “Runnymede United Church” with the purpose noted, e.g., “Village of Love Canada donation” or “VoLC auction purchase.”
Monthly Donations
The Credit Card option above allows you to choose monthly giving. Another option that donors like is the Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) program for automatic bank account debits. These donations incur no additional costs to you or to Village of Love Canada.

On January 1, 2026, Village of Love Canada transitioned our charitable status affiliation from Canada Africa Partnership (CAP) Network to Runnymede United Church.
We remain a secular organization, but are now accountable to the CRA through the Runnymede United Church charitable umbrella rather than through the CAP Network.
Why this new affiliation?
Village of Love Canada and Runnymede United Church both support Kijiji Cha Upendo in Kenya. By affiliating with Runnymede, we strengthen our work with Kijiji Cha Upendo and cut our administrative costs in half. More of your dollars will now reach the beneficiaries.
Your 2025 tax receipt will come from CAP Network, as in the past, but your 2026 tax receipts will come from Runnymede United Church. No new action is required on your part.
