DIY Events for Village of Love

Then, let your creativity run!

  • Make your next party “Instead of gifts this year….”

  • Have your book club read a book set in Africa. Here’s a starter list of books by African writers. We’d love to hear your recommendations.

  • Search East African or Kenyan recipes online. Cook with your friends and donate to help Kenyan families cook and eat well. Share a recipe in the form.

  • Turn a hobby into donations. Sue Cameron collects donated jewelry, cleans and repairs it, and resells it at craft sales. Already in 2026, Sue has donated $2,000 to Village of Love from the sales. If you’d like to connect with Sue, please use the form below.

  • Come up with your own way to have fun and help children!

Create your own event to support orphaned children and the women who care for them. Read about this unique and powerful work in one of the most impoverished communities in Kenya and be inspired.
