BROWSE • BID • BUY

If you can’t make it to Games Night, you can place bids on auction items online up to 8 pm on April 16. A catalogue will be available soon.

Put forward your best bid, and we’ll add it to the silent auction at the beginning of the night. If yours is the high bid, we’ll reach out to arrange payment and item pick up! More details below.

All proceeds will empower impoverished women in the Kibera community in Kenya to meet the extreme challenges of feeding their families and keeping their children in school.

What to expect

  • Come early for a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage and place your first auction bids.

  • Five game options: Bananagrams, Crokinole, Dominoes, Euchre, Trivia. Three rounds of games. Use the form above to choose your three games by 8 pm, Thursday, April 16, and we’ll place you appropriately. If you’d like to play with a specific partner all night, there is a place to add their name on the form. Otherwise, leave that space blank.

  • We are so grateful to the many individuals and organizations who have donated high-value items. Once the catalogue is ready, you can bid online up to 8 pm on April 16. Some items will even have a “Buy Now” price and can be nabbed before the live auction. The auction is live on Saturday, April 18, when guests will use bid sheets to record their bids. If an online bid stands as high at the end of the night, the winner will be contacted.

  • Village of Love Canada is a volunteer organization that raises funds for Kijiji Cha Upendo. The money we raise at Games Night goes directly to the work in Kenya, supporting women who, despite their own poverty and the challenges of raising children, have taken in orphaned children. Your donations help the women start small businesses to support their families, improve family health and nutrition practices, pay for school fees so children can stay in school and learn, and so much more. Read more about The Work in Kenya and Village of Love Canada. Thank you for your support!
