AIDS Ride for Africa 2013: form your own team!

“The Village” - May 24, 2013 There is a place for YOU on our Village of Love Team in the Toronto AIDS Ride for Africa, June 16th, maybe riding your bike, but maybe doing something else! A family-friendly 10k ride is planned along the Lakeshore, ending with a barbecue in High Park (veggie and non veggie options). We welcome volunteers to help make the event go smoothly. HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED: Last year, the Axworthy family formed their own team. YOU can do this too! 1. RIDE your bike and fundraise, or ride your bike and donate. 2. DONATE to support a rider. 3. VOLUNTEER on the day: be a ride monitor; help with the barbecue or registration; be our cheering section; take pictures! We are raising funds for courageous and determined orphan caregivers like Eunice whose tailoring business supports the two orphaned children living with her and six orphaned nieces and nephews living at a distance.
